Daniel Farrands  1965 - 2021

Dan Farrands was a Technology Education Teacher for 20 years at Midlakes Central School District.  Dan was proud of his student's workmanship and accomplishments in the course studies he taught. Dan's open door policy was appreciated by his students and their parents.  Students often came in after hours to work on special projects for family members.  Dan had an amazing way of using love and humor to reach his students. He was a craftsman and could build or fix anything. This scholarship has been established to continue Dan's appreciation of  vocational education.

This annual scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a higher education focusing on Vocational interests ie. Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, Auto Mechanics, Auto CAD and more.
